I've always had unruly hair and have needed to either use a hair lube that was always too shiny and oily or a hairspray that was harsh and nothing was that ladies like to swipe their fingers. My son told me about this product and gave it to me for Christmas over 3 years ago. Since then I've been using it and loving it. It's non-shiny and lasts all day without the greasy feel or harshness of hairspray. I apply it after towel drying my damp hair. A word of caution: you only need a small amount, about the size of a pea, and apply it to your hair. When I first started using it I applied too much thinking I had skin issues, felt like scabs on my scalp - it was excess paste that had dried on my scalp. Also, if you have a pump, shake it often to mix it up. The new hose is 5 ounces in the pump instead of 3.4, which is nice. I've tried other brands but they didn't work as well as this one.
