Review on 🚿 Stylish and Durable Sweet Home Collection 10 Gauge Vinyl Shower Curtain - 72" x 72 by Sue Baccam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice touch in the bathroom.

I bought a white curtain (72" x 72") as the outside curtain to go with the larger but heavier sheer curtain I bought for the inside of the shower. And since my shower is oddly shaped due to its size, the 72β€³ is about 3β€³ from the tray, making the barrier part pretty nice. I say this because I do NOT use it to stop water, but rather for decoration. As for the specifics of the curtain itself, the curtain is not heavy and is made of thin vinyl. The best comparison I can make is about the thickness of a heavy duty freezer bag. (Yes, it's pretty thin.) The seam connecting the white and clear looks like a standard shrink method, fusing two pieces together. Not as strong as a sewn seam, but should hold up well to avoid mishandling. Because my shower rod is higher than usual, the color barrier is at the right height to hide a person's chest and below; but I mention it because I suspect that a standard shower stall would place a barrier about halfway down the chest of an average 5 foot person. Simply put, I would expect an average height woman in a normal setting to expect her breasts to be visible to the rest of the room when she is behind that curtain. The bathroom is fine until the kids or the dog reach it.
