Clothes hanger does exactly what it's supposed to. It is compact but unfolds into a fairly long hanging rail. I have it in my small laundry room. Folds up neatly against the wall when not in use. It seems well made and thicker metal than I thought it would be. There is a rod at the end that pulls out and increases the overall length. The hanger consists of two parts, one is the main folding bracket and the other is the wall bracket. The bracket is again thick metal (not sure which). There were no assembly instructions in my kit, but it's easy to find out. All devices included. There are basically 4 screws (Allen head) that attach the bracket to the bracket and 4 wall insert screws that attach the bracket to the wall. Here's my only complaint I see with the hanger mount. You will receive 4 wall inserts ex works to mount your clothes hanger almost anywhere. However, I believe these wall inserts may not be enough. The mount is so long that a lot of weight at the end, especially with a retractable stem, can put a lot of force (think leverage) on the wall mount screws. I was afraid that these screws would come loose from the wall. I have to say I haven't had this experience but I think it can become a problem over time. Instead of using anchors I went to the hardware store and bought some longer screws and then used the anchor finder to work out where I got the anchors in the wall. I hung a hanger next to the door, so there is a lot of wood framing around the door. It worked really well and the hanger is securely attached to the wall. I don't think that will ever be a problem. Another improvement I made is adding 2 small sticks on the bumpers to the hanger brackets in 2 places. At one point the hanger hits the wall when folded. Elsewhere, the folding arm meets another folding arm. Both areas made a sound when they hit the wall or themselves. I figured it would end up damaging the wall, or at least the paint. Adding 2 sticks to the bumpers solved the problem. Finally no problem, I wanted to note the finish of the mount. I believe the Revain listing says the finish is "silver". 2 other colors were available. I was expecting the hanger to be either chrome or nickel plated. In fact, it is painted gray. with a slightly rough finish, maybe it's a paint job, or the metal was sandblasted before painting, but I'm not sure. It's not a problem in any way, just not what I expected. The suspension works very well. It slides out, can hold clothes, and then folds up when not in use. We used to have a shower curtain rod (spring loaded) between the walls of the room and it looked bad. Thats much better. I recommend this product. He does what he has to do. Minor imperfections can easily be remedied.
