Review on ChargerCity Nonslip Smartphone Friction Dashboard by David Roberts

I split 4 and 5 stars for this product. The base is excellent and comfortable. It stays on the dash and is far more useful than the suction cup mounts I've used in the past. However, the clip is not the best design solution. Difficult to use with my large iPhone 7 Plus. As long as it fits, you should maximize the clamp, and it can be difficult to open far enough that your hand gets in the way. I ended up replacing the clip with an older Ankor adapter I had from my previous mount. If you have a standard sized phone or a smaller phone (smaller than a Galaxy Note or iPhone Plus), you will most likely have a better clipping experience. To be honest though it's worth buying the product just for the base. I can't stress enough how much easier it was to use than the suction cup, CD player, or vent mounts.
