I hesitated for a long time but finally decided on the TZ101 reversing camera kit. When I got it I thought it was worth every penny. The kit contains everything you need. The camera is all metal, very heavy and looks well made. The monitor also looks good. And there is also a 67 inch cable, the length of which is enough for most cars. The installation is quite easy, the instructions are very helpful. It includes a diagram that clearly shows what to do. Before installing it in my car, I first tested the components in my garage and made a simple video. If you only have one camera, connect the red (positive) lead to the backup power supply and secure the black (negative) lead with a screw. This will turn on the monitor when you switch to backup, so the image only appears when you're backing up. If you wish to install a second camera, connect the red (positive) lead to the vehicle's main power lead (so that it has power when switched on) and then reattach the black (negative) lead with the screw. Now connect the blue line (backup trigger) to the emergency power supply. This allows the V2 camera to display the image on the monitor under normal driving conditions and switch to the V1 camera when the vehicle is reversing. The image quality from the camera and monitor is very clear, much better than my old monitor. This is a great update. I would recommend it to anyone who needs it.
