Review on Due North Rubber Ice Traction Device πŸ‘£ APINDUSTRIAL-L: Boost Grip and Safety on Icy Surfaces by Dave Rasic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like that they cover the toe of the shoe.

Due North-All Purpose Industrial Ice Drifts are my choice for stability, safety/quality, especially what I've tried over the last 25 years. per day in winter in an area covered with concrete snow/thick ice. They have tungsten carbide lugs, 4 on the ball of the foot and 4 on the heel, that keep me from slipping and are of a height that doesn't throw me off balance while working or walking. (other brands had steel spikes and I still slipped). The rubber is thick and durable, and you need to stretch a bit to start loading. However, the rubber loosens a bit with use, making it easier to put on and take off. I like the fact that they cover the toe of the shoe and the rubber heel tab goes higher than most. They never fell off my boots (which I can't say about other brands). I wear size 9 sturdy women's over-the-knee boots (Sorels or Kamik) and ordered a large size. My last pair lasted 4 years and I wore them every day all winter. These ice boots are highly recommended.
