I was fascinated by the elegance and simplicity of this watch and was not disappointed. It comes in a very Apple-like packaging, so when you open the inner box all you see is a round dial. The bezel is made of brushed stainless steel. The crown is smooth and precisely moves the hand to the second position. It was very easy for me to operate the crown and set the watch. There is nothing on the dial but the hours (even the hours are marked with numbers) and quarter hour markers, it reminds me of a gauge with 00 (midnight) at the bottom. The rice grain-inspired metal bracelet maintains the theme of simplicity through the use of a deployment clasp that snaps securely on each side (very minimalist, with buttons removed and unnecessary security clasps). The time display is simple and intuitive: morning on the left, afternoon on the right, noon at the top, midnight at the bottom, one glance shows you the hour and if you linger a little longer you know where you are in fifteen steps. . All of this from what appears to be a non-functioning second hand, which is secured with a small disc in the center of the dial. In a world of complexity, this watch offers only the essentials in an elegant package. I couldn't be happier with my purchase considering the time.
