I need an adapter or converter to connect a cable (usually a long headphone cable) to get my TV sound into the kitchen. It took about 6 minutes from opening the packaging box to starting work. I have no audio delay between TV audio and kitchen speaker audio. I only gave it 4 stars for durability as I've had it for less than an hour, but it looks pretty solid. FYI, the main selling point was the inclusion of a USB cable with a wall outlet adapter, as many of the other models I saw required an AC adapter but didn't include one. EDIT: Make sure your TV's audio settings are correct. If the output is "Dolby" then this device cannot handle it (as stated in the description) and you will be surprised to hear noise and no sound! Settings adjusted (as stated in the description, incl.) and everything works as desired.
