I bought a pair of 1.8+ from Japanese Revain and they turned out pretty good, except I could have been a bit stronger, like 2.0+ . So I looked up US Revain and couldn't find either 2.0 or 1.8. 3+ was the lowest. I decided to give it a try. Well it's too strong. I couldn't see anything until I placed the object directly in front of my eyes, maybe 3 inches from my eyes. I can't read a book like that. Even then it was not clear. So I decided to return it. Too bad. I guess I'll just have to switch back to the Japanese Revain. The frame is pretty solid and looks good.
