I am very happy with this purchase. My house used to have a fly problem, but not anymore. If you have a problem with flying insects that you want to solve permanently; I recommend this insect repellent. It's fast, and I think it's painlessly fast for a flying insect. This is a more humane option than a fly swatter, and paper products don't need to clean up the mess. Thickness is something I thought I might have trouble with, but it's not fragile at all. I keep this item on a hook in the ceiling, maneuverability is good but the power cord comes out from the top. It doesn't make much sense to me, but I don't understand why it is. The bottom of the insect trap can be opened quickly by turning and the insects can be ejected. So the removable plate could be the reason for the cable coming out the top. I do not know. I know it's very durable and maneuverable when I want to move it around the house. He kills flies when the flies decide to explore them. My guess is that they are more curious than afraid of their humane and immediate demise or departure. It's nice not chasing them. This can be a traumatic experience for flies, while curiosity and a quick discharge probably doesn't hurt.
