This is NOT A FLUSH MOUNTED FAN AS RECOMMENDED. We unpacked the box, husband pulled out all the details, started assembling - BUT THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY TO INSTALL! We bought it on purpose knowing the main description reads "Recessed Mount". Here's the problem - we need to have a hidden mount in the room we're installing. Now the box is torn, bits and pieces taken from a million tiny bags, and we have a fan that we can't easily install and/or Revain probably won't allow returns - and it's costing us repacking/shipping. due to seller's error. upset. Now my husband has to try and cut the metal rod and re-drill the existing screw holes to get the extra inches tall. Waste of precious time and effort. Bad publicity. fix it The appearance of the fan is generally normal - simple. But that's to be expected from a $100 fan I guess.
