First of all I like the functionality of this product. It sticks to the wall stand very well and holds my iPhone 8 Plus with the UAG case. It even has slightly more free space. The part that grips and holds the phone is held firmly. For these reasons, I give the absorbency and stickiness 5 stars. BUT. The problem is that you have to apply some pressure to get the phone in place. After enough time and VERY caution, the shoulder joint that the wing nut was attached to broke in half. I ended up attaching it with Gorilla Glue and so far it's holding up. I will contact the company for a replacement part. Maybe that will change my rating (hint). If this item was more durable I would give it 5 stars. It's been really great so far. It's easy to install and adjust the ball and base for the optimal viewing angle. If you're using it to store a semi-permanent device, it's a really good choice. If you carry your phone with you every day, you might want to find a better one. I have contacted the seller with photos of the damaged item. He couldn't sell me a single part of the kit but said if I ordered a new one he would refund me HALF the purchase price. I tried. I bought a new one for $26.29 and they refunded me $13.99 when I received the replacement. Upgrading my rating to 4 stars for excellent customer service!
