So far so good. After the last phone holder broke and I had to catch my phone while driving, I was a little worried about phone holders. Since it's metal, I'm starting to trust it. I have a Note 8 that I attach to this mount. I can place the phone in different positions. I mount it horizontally to be able to record videos while driving at low speeds, but feel comfortable to say that videos can be recorded at higher speeds even with the right phone case. At least good enough to grab the vehicle's license plate if needed. The only issue I have with the holder is that the bottom clip presses down on the Bixby button that the Note 8 has, messing up my headset that I have in the helmet. I have attached a short video of my first ride with this holder. I've found that I have to rotate the holder forward so I can't see my pen and I need a new phone case. The waterproof plastic camera lens cover sways in the wind. I ride a Harley so the video would be really shaky if the mount was bad.
