Aftermarket fits imprecisely and clogs faster than the original.

As stated in the description, this is not an original filter. And it's cheaper than OEM Bissell filters. But it's not as well made as the original, doesn't fit, and clogs up quickly. The mesh cover does not fit well on the paper element, so a lot of coarse dirt goes through the mesh and gets caught. in the paper, which then quickly clogs it. I've tried two of these and they both had the same problem - the paper element clogs up so quickly that the low price isn't worth it as you have to change it twice as often.
