These straps replace my original Comfort Click belt which had good, long life but was only worn out. When I slipped this new Chaoren strap over my Comfort Click strap, I noticed that they are made the same way, from the markings indicating where to cut on one end, to the ratchet teeth on the other end about the construction and function of the buckle. My guess is that it could be the same belt under a different name. I didn't notice the strong smell that another reviewer wrote about. To be clear, there was a slight "manufacturing smell" when I took it out of the box, but I let it air out for a couple of hours and then that smell dissipated. The brown color is a bit lighter than I wanted. I wish they offered shades of brown as I would opt for a darker version if it were available. What I love about these belts is the ease of attachment, the adjustable fit, and the fact that the traditional belt shows no signs of worn holes. I'm optimistic that these straps will last comfortably for years like they did with my original Comfort Click strap.
