Review on AVLT Power Aluminum Spring Monitor Extended by Mike Pettigrew

I bought two nice large curved screens to replace my old flat screens and wanted to hang them on the wall to free up desk space. I asked some of my tech friends and they recommended the AVLT Dual Monitor Wall Mount. The device is solid - feels solid and is really well built right out of the box. The installation guide was simple and clear. My husband and I installed it on the wall above my desk and used a piece of pine left over from our floor to ceiling bookcase project to mount it. We live in an old house with battens and stucco walls so I decided to play it safe and only attach it with screws. , select (and paint) the piece of wood that served as the "substrate", screw it to the wall, and then mount the monitor mount. I'm very happy with it - great freedom of movement, it's easy to move my monitors around if I want to and they feel very secure.
