Sounds great for the price!
Sounds great and is a good and very inexpensive way to hear 5.1 TV sound on my existing Pro Tools system and studio monitoring. I typically need to add 6-8dB of gain to the signal coming out of the decoder, but that's easy to do in Pro Tools. The only real downside is that the device lags a frame or two...not a deal breaker for $45. Perhaps the delay is actually more specific to the optical output of the Vizio TV I'm using. Many people don't notice when the audio is in the frame behind the video. Pity,
