Review on 27 Inch Samsung LED Monitor S27C500H with 1920X1080P Resolution by Ken Gonzalez

Pros: I am very impressed with the resolution size and clarity of this display. I tried the VGA (analog) and HDMI inputs and found that HDMI is clearer. Luckily, HDMI cables are a lot cheaper today than they were a few years ago. And many computers now have HDMI outputs. Even with reduced resolution, the display still looked very good. Of course, it looks best in native resolution. There are only 2 small negatives that kept me from giving 5 stars: (1) I don't really like the separate DC power adapter - luckily it comes with an AC cord so it doesn't work. Don't overload outlets like a DC wall power supply. In terms of cable, it would be a little better if this monitor were connected directly to the mains. (2) I would have liked the DVI input. Older computers have DVI connectors rather than HDMI, and the DVI cable has screw-in retaining tabs to keep the cable from getting lost. This is a very small problem as there are cable adapters to convert DVI and HDMI into each other.
