Exactly what I need! This is probably a better design than the OEM part. A simple and effective solution. Worked great on my KitchenAid dishwasher when one side of the original part broke where the plastic connects the pull cord to the bottom of the dishwasher door. Turn off the power at the switch, turn off the water supply, remove 2 screws under the cabinet and a few more under the front of the dishwasher and you can pull the machine straight out. You may need to disconnect the water supply line and/or electrical connection to allow enough clearance for the machine to slide out sufficiently. (Turn off the POWER and water supplies FIRST.) Replace the parts and reverse the process. If you are a nimble boy or girl, this whole process takes about half an hour. If you are not satisfied with the basic plumbing or electrical installation; Call a pro or bake pies for your neighbor with a large tool box in the garage. 😉
