I bought this keyboard as a backup in case I had to throw out one I was already using (it had a sticky key or two). Meanwhile, while this one was still in the box, my kid stepped and kicked on it and it was used as a platform to put toys down and bang on. Well the day finally came when I had to start using it (another keyboard was sunk into a strawberry PediaSure) and I was just certain it would come out of the box bent in the middle and possibly non-functional. Oh my! I was wrong, but I was happy to see the keyboard in excellent condition - even without the protective foam (although there was a plastic sheet on it). So I would definitely say that this is a solid keyboard. I enjoy using it too, and I love that its keys have fingertip grooves (my previous one didn't). I've tried keyboard stands and they work great too. I will buy another one to keep in case this one suffers the same fate as its predecessor!
