Very happy with this monitor

I've been looking for an ultra-wide curved monitor with USB-C and PBP for a long time. My previous monitor was a VA and I tend to work in a dark room so I prefer VA for deeper blacks. I have a laptop that I want to connect to a USB-C port (which also charges) and my desktop PC is connected to the display port. I finally came across this one and it checked all the fields. I am very satisfied and recommend it. The screen is big and beautiful, with a good curve. I installed it on the Revain Basics arm and it looks really great. There's a USB hub, but it's designed for USB-B connections, not USB-C, so keep that in mind. Hub ports don't switch between inputs - they stay with the computer connected to that USB-B port. I haven't used PBP that much, but when I tried it, it worked. The built-in speakers are fine, but I hooked up a couple of external speakers to the aux port and they switch between inputs with no problem. Several times Windows did not recognize the speakers of the monitor, but recently this problem has not been observed - usually a reboot fixes it. Also, I can easily run my monitor at 100Hz - I have an AMD RX570 graphics card installed on my desktop. Overall this was a great purchase for the price. I looked at other monitors in the $700 range with similar features. Some of them had USB input switching (like kvm) but I'm fine without.

Pros
  • USB hub
Cons
  • No automatic
