So, the base was exactly like the photo and surprisingly heavy, good quality. Not like the picture. It was missing the black paint in the cracks that made it looks bulky off. It was just silver plastic. I guess they're not all like that, but maybe? It just needed a final coat of paint./varnish to make it look aged and elegant. Bought as a gift for a farewell colleague and didn't have time to return /Exchange. It would be ideal if it was finished properly. I really want to get more as parting gifts, but not if they are unfinished. Seller is welcome to contact me.
