Don't buy this to cover wood

Didn't realize it would leak so much. I bought it to cover a stack of firewood that I haven't stacked yet and the top layer of wood was soaking wet, then I was told the tarp needed to "breathe" and wouldn't hold all the moisture, but it says " Dry Top" and the word "weatherproof" is used several times, which I think is misleading.
