Review on BOSCH 85680MC Carbide Tipped Double Flute Top Bearing by Tray Smith

This Bosch 1/2 x 1 bit was purchased to replace the Bosch 1/2 x 1 template bit which came in a 3 piece set. I had failed the original bit and chipped off the carbide on the tip. I've used it quite a bit and probably tried to squeeze out too much material too quickly. The only thing I don't like about these bits is the clamp screw that holds the bearing in place. I've learned over the years, every time I use these beats I always check to make sure the learning is good and solid. I've had a set screw fall out in the past, and with a little spin at 28,000rpm good luck finding the set screw! LOL I'm using the blue (healthy) lock on the set screws now and the problem isn't a problem anymore but I still check them from time to time.
