Review on 🌌 Nordic Vibes: 14.5-inch LVA2160 Colormax Lamp - Glittery Northern Lights, Clear Liquid & Decal Base by Marcus Freeman

I got it for my daughter's birthday. It was plugged in and working for 2 days (only bits at a time). I didn't receive it with defective parts like some reviewers did, which is great. I was afraid that the bulb or the glass would break. Although it might be as it was packaged with no regard for glass and fragility. In my case I was lucky. However if you are considering purchasing this item please note that it is not packaged properly for an item that breaks easily. It's pretty pretty, the glitters are dancing all over the place and it's fun to watch. But it will be very hot. I've never had a lava lamp, and I understand they need to be heated to melt the spheres and whatnot. I guess I just didn't realize it was getting so hot. I don't recommend going overnight. It also gives off a lot of heat in my daughter's room and leaving it on for more than an hour makes her room noticeably warmer. So we're keeping an eye on it to make sure there's nothing around that can melt or be subjected to heat. I'm not sure how big the safety hazard could be or how normal a lava lamp heats up. So just in your head. Verdict: It's nice and does what it says on the tin, and the price isn't bad. But it will be very hot and poorly packed.
