Review on MSI Non Glare Adjustable FreeSync OPTIXMAG273R 2048X1080, 144Hz, Adaptive Sync, ‎Optix MAG273R, LCD by Steve Morikawa

Good for the price - my new review

Just connected OPTIXMAG273R. The "approx. 1 inch" sides of the display are darker, while the rest of the panel, top and bottom, remains unaffected. The package does not include a DP cable. The display doesn't extend to the edge of the frame by about 1/4 inch of the unused frame on the sides and top. However, it seems like a great monitor for the low price I paid at $260 but I wouldn't want to pay more for it. Before that I was using an old 32" HDMI TV. It will take me some time to figure out how to set it up properly. I think I need a Displayport cable for G-Sync to work. UPDATE: Been playing for almost now two weeks Gaming I don't notice any edge fading on this monitor at all, using it for content creation or office work can be annoying.
