The lamp is very nice. I'm a big fan of touch lamps and this one is no exception. It is durable and well made. I love everything about it except that if it was twice the size I would pay twice as much for it! It's a good size for a shelf or dark room entryway, but not a bedside lamp unless stacked on top of books or something. But buy! I hope you love it as much as I do! (It has 3 very different touch levels, although you might not be able to tell from the photos I've included: low, medium, high. Just make sure you buy some kind of candelabra lamp. It doesn't have to be the expensive 3 I've had touch lights my entire life and never want to be without one or two in my house as I'm incredibly easy to use.I bought a two bulb chandelier at Lowe's for $1.98.
