This monitor takes too long to boot up when connected to an M1 MacBook Pro. This causes the MacBook to not properly recognize the display when waking from sleep, and it takes 10-30 seconds to see the output. This slow wake up also interferes with unlocking with Apple. clock function. At first I thought it was an MBP issue and spent half a day at the Apple Store to diagnose it. Tried to change the following settings: Input, AutoSource, and QuickStart. Did not help! Disabling all game-related improvements didn't help either. Assuming this issue only occurs over HDMI, I purchased a USB-C to DisplayPort cable that connected directly to the MBP as other reviews have pointed out. This also didn't solve the problem. The problem is complete, the wake-up delay is still around 5-10 seconds, and there are still unlocking problems!
