Our dog had major surgery and when he recovered we could only take him on 5 minute walks which resulted in him having a lot more dog poo in our trash can would have. We bought him a small jar with a simple human step, but after a while we noticed that it didn't smell that good. I have one of those filter kits because it says it can be recharged every few months with just a few hours in the sun. After 2 days it fell off along with the pre installed sticky thing so I put a 3M adhesive mount on it and it has stayed in place ever since. The smell from the can has been completely absorbed for more than 1 month.
