It doesn't pick up on most of my dogs barking - she's a big girl with a loud bark. This may be because she has thick fur, so I had to use longer strands to break through the fur. Unfortunately, the bark sensor extension comes off very easily. We have had the collar for a month now and she only wears it in her cage but we managed to lose the tip rendering it unusable. But even when we had the bait it only caught 1 bark out of 4 or so. We definitely had higher expectations as we use e-collars for our two dogs when training or walking off leash.
