Review on Sienna Plein Air Pochade Box - 🎨 Medium: Artists Adjustable Easel and Palette Box (CT-PB-0910) by Kim Sanchez

Well I've used this cute box a few times since I bought it and I really like it. The sleek, compact design with dark wood, glass shelf, and easy installation make this the perfect portable piece to take anywhere. While it's lightweight due to the quality of the wood and the fact that there's a glass shell, it still has a certain presence that needs a sturdy, well-made tripod that will reduce wobble. I do not recommend the Sienna tripod. My only real complaint was how it holds the canvas/board in place. 4 protruding "fingers" keep it quite stable, but sometimes interfere with the surface painting. If that doesn't bother you, then you don't need to worry. This bothered me, so I made a modification to provide a different mechanism to hold my artboard in place. Now everything is perfect. This mod also allows me to carry wet 8x10 paintings in a box, so when I'm done I just close it and go. This is not possible without some modifications as the painting is too far forward to fully close the box. The glass bowl can be easily removed if you are interested. A NOTICE. Read the installation instructions, the "lever" on the left side of the box must be pulled back before tightening the knobs or it will not hold the open position. This seems to be a common problem for people. Overall, highly recommended and would buy again.
