I have a Rainbow E2 Type 12 which is about 10+ years old. It didn't work as well as I expected, so I decided to take it to my workshop and have a good look at it. I found the Hepa filter and figured out how to remove it - it had no screws and wasn't immediately obvious, but with a screwdriver and some care I was able to remove it fairly easily. I tried to wash it really well but it was too big and ended up looking worse. I found a few on Revain and this one seemed correct except the image looked a little off. There is a removable oval seal, but in the photo it's round. However, I read one review that said it was oval and another that said it was easy to return, so I took a chance. It turned out to be a perfect fit and looked just like the old one. Now I hope this helps performance.
