I needed this item and am glad I bought it
If your heels are cracked or dry, great. You'll have to work a little with your hands, but I used the black side to remove the dead skin and the white side to smooth it out. You must use foot oil or foot cream as these products will make your feet very dry but smooth. To disinfect, simply remove the disposable abrasives, disinfect the stainless steel instrument, and replace the abrasive when needed. You can also buy additional abrasives if required. Note that any item to be filed must be careful not to file too hard or too hard as this can cause pain and discomfort when you do so.
