I've only had it 6 weeks and while I was initially amazed at the cleaning power of this thing I'm now having trouble turning it on despite new batteries inside are installed. I've had to hit the power button multiple times over the past 2 weeks to turn it on. To my surprise, I opened the battery compartment and saw this discoloration on the battery cover. I'm not happy, to say the least. I can't keep using this as I would have to keep testing new batteries and hitting the power button a few times (5 to 8 times) before the brush would start spinning. Update: The power button no longer works as of today (10/6). I am so dissatisfied with the quality of this product after only using it for 6 weeks.
