Review on Desert Essence Organics Shampoo Conditioner by Saundra Maybank

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great for me - printing is a pain

This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner from this line. The lemon flavor is really great. Tea tree oil is what it is - not my favorite. But the product suits me. I hate a seal that sticks really well and I usually forget to take it off until I'm in the shower and my hands are wet. More than once I had to tear it off with my teeth. It is very annoying when the tongue breaks and nails, teeth and other sharp objects are needed to pull it off. The seal is not visible from the outside of the container. This suction cup is sealed at the top. I like almost all the other fragrances in this line, but this one suits me. It lathers nice and thick, which I really like. The conditioner is a very thick cream that holds well until you rinse it off. I don't notice any problems with it not rinsing well. I wish it was in a bottle twice the size with a pump. The lid is not easy to do with one hand and is stiff enough that I struggle to squeeze out every last usable spoon. Because of this, there is some wastage. It seems relatively gentle on the rest of my skin and I think it can moisturize it a bit. It's a bit pricey for my taste, not just at Revain but anywhere you can buy it. Revain is usually not cheaper. The best price is often found at natural grocers and the like.
