I've got a pack of dogs in there. After all, everything needs a little tweaking to smell fresh. Also, I hate taking a clean t-shirt out of my drawer and only smelling a very, very faint odor. (I have no sense of smell, but I always ask someone in the house to smell my clothes. It's a whim, don't ask.) I bought a liquid to match that smell and only got it a day or two before, so I can't speak about durability but the clothes feel a bit softer and my family has spoken about how good everything smells. The only criticism is the size of the container. I try to buy less plastic and these bottles are small! I would appreciate if they used recycled cardboard and gave us at least triple that in a container. Also check the floor in front of the washing machines if you have children or pets. Sometimes one of the beads does not dissolve and falls out of clothes. I have no idea if they're poisonous, but I'm not risking it. It only takes a few seconds to make sure the floor is clear.
