Doesn't look like regular balloons. I got them for the 4th of July holidays! I followed the instructions in the manual that came with it! After reading other reviews I decided to inflate it with a handheld balloon pump I bought from Party City for $6. I inflated to about 10 inches, then deflated, then slowly inflated to a full 18 inches. None of them burst. They didn't float because I didn't use helium. But they served the purpose I was looking for! (I'll try helium next time) and I bought colorful garlands to add to them. I added 2 x 6.5 feet to each ball. It turned out amazing, everyone was praising and watching! I was able to take apart the balloons to use them again! Fantastic purchase, will be buying more for other projects in the future!
