I got this for my full face road bike helmet. Installation was easy and the instructions are clear. The ear cups and cables run under the helmet padding. Headphones and microphone are attached to the inside of the helmet with Velcro. For those using a 3/4 open face helmet or other type, another type of microphone is included for you to use. The only wire sticking out was the USB cable that went to the case of the device. Connecting to my phone via Bluetooth was easy, as it is with most other Bluetooth devices. The connection remained stable during my use. Music quality is clean and decent, but don't expect the quality to be as good as branded headphones. The call quality was good. The person on the other end of the line could hear me loud and clear, even over the noise of the engine and the wind. I was able to turn the volume up quite loud. It's definitely loud enough to hear while driving. In terms of sound quality, this is one of the best Bluetooth headsets I've owned, especially considering the price. Make sure all your surfaces are clean so the velcro and double sided tape will fit your helmet properly. Be careful not to pinch the cables when replacing the helmet pad. Position the device housing so that you can easily reach all buttons and operate the device safely.
