Review on Makita 195386 6 Extracting 7 Inch Grinder by Paul Opoku

Power tool parts and accessories are worth every penny

is worth EVERY penny. Anyone who disagrees is simply abusing it, is a bad vacuum cleaner, or has unrealistic expectations. Anyone who disagrees or says it doesn't work. Simply remove the suction hose and see what flies up. It's only natural and to be expected that if you remove a section to reveal a disc/blade you're using for edging/corners, you'll lose most of the suction power. But some people still complain. This is not a disadvantage. It just is. You can even minimize that by using a REALLY GOOD or premium vacuum, attachments and filters. I've only used a 12-gallon ShopVac combined HEPA filter and bag-type vacuum and filled it with enough concrete dust where the vacuum weighed so much that I only replaced half of the bag to keep it from bursting. If I dropped a coin on a good quality MEtabo, Bosch or Festool vacuum with suction power, you would pull out the insides. I bet this extractor would work even better. I used this on a 7" Makita grinder. A combo worth every penny spent. Not even for my one-off DIY project. Whether you run a business or do chores around the house, you should always have a set of adapters to hand Have hand to make each hose work.In my opinion.

Pros
  • Soft brushes prevent dust from escaping and help move the tool over surfaces
Cons
  • The boring packaging
