I bought this battery to replace a defective preform battery in my Roomba 650. Be sure to check the installation list before purchasing this replacement battery. After removing the screws from the bottom of the Roomba, installation was a lot easier than I expected. I removed the old battery in about five seconds and installed this in another five seconds. Be sure to orient the battery correctly using the internal contact pads. If they aren't perfectly aligned, Roomba will display an error code on the LCD screen. PLEASE DO NOT DISCHARGE YOUR OLD ROOMBA BATTERY IN THE WASTE BIN. Do a little research and TRY to find a place that can recycle lithium batteries. Your children, the planet, and I will greatly appreciate your efforts and obedience.
