Bought a pair of these in 2017 to use as secondary exhausts in my Corsair Air 240 case. Firstly they are not "quiet". However, they are reasonably quiet and do the job of removing air from the case. However, the quiet hum of this pair of 80mm fans effectively dampens any noise from the 3 pre-installed Corsair 120mm fans, meaning the stock Corsair fans will continue to run silently for over 4 years of continuous use. food for thought. Fast forward to 2021, one of the two has entered end of life as evidenced by a loud grinding noise in the case and a visual inspection, it hesitates which likely means the bearing has failed. A shame. The fan keeps spinning, albeit more slowly than its assistant. To be fair, Cooler Master estimates this fan has an expected lifespan of 35,000 hours which looks like the best ever. The pair's other fan is still running with no signs of problems. I'm buying a spare duo and haven't found a reason not to buy another pair yet. I'm just saying.
