I have a two year old 65 inch 4K HDR Samsung 8000 series TV and a new Samsung 4K Blue Ray 7000 series player with updated firmware. With this cable it plays regular DVDs just fine, but when I play a 4k movie disc Black Panther plays for a few minutes, then pauses for a few seconds to buffer, then plays for a few more minutes as the movie progresses Next.One of my old HDMI cables behaved the same way but I tried the third cable which is also 8-10 years old plays a 4k movie without pause, also I noticed that the end of these HDMI cables Fits the HDMI sockets quite loosely, I haven't bothered to send them back but I doubt I'll use them and won't buy again.
