Generally serves the purpose. It's soft enough for my child's head who is just trying to keep his head up without hitting it on the carpet. It's easier to clean than a blanket, especially since we have a dog at home. I liked the neutral color so it doesn't clash with the rest of the furniture. It's such a good size for learning how to turn around. However, in detail, one of them turned out to be very curved (fortunately it was only the edge) and the wrong color details arrived (see the left edge of the carpet). Despite the failures, I am considering ordering a second set. It's incredibly cute, age appropriate but not flashy with colors. Definitely recommended.
