Review on 🚗 Metra 99-6510 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dash Kit with Navigation for 2004 and Up Models by Ahmed Rowe

Nothing to say about this Metra kit other than it claims to be the best DDIN head unit kit for my car based on my research (2007 Dodge Ram 1500). Serves its purpose, but the fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired. Once installed, the HU fit is slightly crooked, with the left side protruding slightly compared to the right. Doesn't stop the show, but it causes me OCD. The big problem with the device is how the frame fits into my new factory navigation bar. The black frame around the Metra unit is a bit loose and uneven compared to the factory frame, so it protrudes a bit in places and feels a little tight. It should be flush and snug, but it isn't. I'll come up with something, but it's a bit annoying that I spent nearly $1,000 on this upgrade to find something that falls well short of OEM fit and looks. Hopefully it's just a slightly "non-standard" device and your experience will be better.
