Both my wife and I use Philips Sonicare toothbrushes and my wife and I were excited to try this brush as it had more modes and features on paper than those My wife's entry-level Sonicare. and compare with my more expensive one. After using it for over a week, here are our key observations compared to the Philips. COMPARISON WITH PHILIPS SONICARE Series 2 – HX6211. two (despite the fact that this brush has more modes). In terms of brushing power/vibration of the toothbrush I would say that the Philips has the more powerful of the two meaning it cleans more vigorously. But that can also be bad, and strong vibrations can be a little annoying. My wife prefers this a little more as it is gentler on her sensitive teeth/gums. - Has more modes than Base Philips. comparable to much more expensive ones - the modes aren't just a gimmick. In fact, you can see that the bristles vibrate differently for each mode, with different parts of the head vibrating differently for each mode. The included ear tips (Philips compatible) offer excellent value for money. There are no speed settings to choose from, instead you choose one of 5 modes. The brush heads are inexpensive in terms of performance compared to the Philips C3 brush heads, but have no metal ring like the Philips brush heads and are therefore a bit louder. The battery easily lasts a week. The grip is thinner than the Philips Series 2. Like the Philips, it has a quad pacemaker to remind you to change your teeth. The wireless charger is compatible with Philips Sonicare toothbrushes. i.e. it can easily be charged with an OEM Phillips charger and vice versa. FINAL THOUGHTS Overall this is a budget option for people with sensitive teeth/gums compared to the Philips Sonicare as it is subject to slightly less shock/vibration than the Philips Sonicare. While Philips still ranks first in terms of net cleaning power, this one comes second.
