Years after converting my rear brakes from drum to disc, I finally decided to install this mod on my 1994 Caprice Wagon. The difference is like day and night. I used to be afraid of my brakes, but now the feeling is so good that it doesn't bother me anymore. Even if you brake hard, the locking will no longer occur as before. Before the mod my brakes locked up because only the front wheels stopped so I had to floor the brake pedal to slow the car down but now almost effortlessly and the car stops halfway through very smoothly. I should have done this a long time ago. I recommend this to all Caprice Impala SS with rear disc brakes. I highly recommend bleeding the system for this to work properly. You should do this when air is entering the system anyway, and this is no exception.
