Great for homemade protein bars or balls

I specifically ordered this to make my own protein bars. They are incredibly expensive and far better to make yourself and you can control what's in them if you have a food intolerance or allergy like my son and I do. Non-GMO, vegan, organic, no fake ingredients, I'm happy and obviously my body won't flare up or get sick as I can't stand the chemicals and toxins in my food. This is a decent sized bag. It's very powdery, like flour. I tried it out a bit just to see how it tasted and all I can say is that it tastes like rice protein powder and therefore tastes like most protein bars. I decided to create my own recipe based on one I found online that was easy and required no baking. I'm a busy, working single mom and I don't have time let alone energy for anything. So if it's difficult I won't, and that's why I like protein bars because they're more effective in my life. I cooked everything very quickly and they were delicious. Here's a rough recipe for what I did, but I didn't actually measure so I had to add and tweak things as I went. The original recipe said you could use maple syrup or other sweeteners, but I went with honey. 1 1/2 cups peanut butter 1/4 cup honey, maple syrup, or agave (I used honey) ounces melted chocolate chips (I didn't use them) I added chia seeds softened with distilled water and raisins. Since I added the chia seed mixture I had to change a few things. I wouldn't recommend raisins as they don't taste great with peanut butter, but I don't mind the taste and wanted to get some more fiber with chia since they each have an incredible amount of protein. (Actually a lot more than I need and that would be too clogging). This is great to incorporate into a recipe. lol I just mix them all together in a bowl and shape them into balls. I put them in a pot and left them in the fridge for a while and they turned out great. Anyway, I really love this powder and it works for a long time. You can make so many different types of protein bars based on your tastes, with oatmeal, rice flakes, berries, chocolate, granola and so on. I really like scotchers and will make them for the next batch. Their signature flavor comes from mixing chocolate chips with toffee chips. You melt it and put it on top. Or you can just place them on the bars and turn on the oven to melt the chocolate and then take them out. I appreciate this protein powder and recommend it to others.
