Revainrating 5 out of 5

Drains a small bathroom: 8'(L) x 5'(W) x 8'(H) = 320 cf

Successfully dehumidifies a small bathroom (320 cu Walls and from ceiling to floor: 8 ft (L) x 5 ft (W) x 8 ft (H) = 320 ft. The bathroom door is kept closed to keep our animals out so the only ventilation into the room is through the door and is closed a few times a day as well as a fan during and a few minutes after the shower. Keeping the door closed encourages the growth of mold and mildew. However, the dehumidifier works best when the room it is in is enclosed. gone, so we've got it going for us. :-) Both devices consume very little power. The dehumidifier is not silent, but it is silent. Reading customer complaints, I found that the Achilles' heel of this type of product is the on/off switch, which tends to break when pulled out and turned off. No problem if you leave the switch on and use the dehumidifier's control jack to automatically turn the dehumidifier on and off based on the humidity setting. :-) It also saves you having to turn the device on and off yourself. Lazy people rule! The dehumidifier control socket is plugged into a socket on the wall to the left of the sink, approximately 30 cm from the sink. Cabinet. Using a wearable humidity sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B35APA/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I noticed that the humidity level reported by the controller was 15% higher than the wearable unit, which I placed in the middle of the room. Since I wanted the dehumidifier to turn on when the humidity in the center of the room was above 55%, I set the control output to 40%. After 5 days the tank is full. in times of above-average humidity. When the humidity is below 55%, the control socket will turn off the dehumidifier. It's over at the moment. :-) The only maintenance is to empty the tank when it's full and blow dust balls out of the vents every few months. The dehumidifier does not work very well if the vents are not dust free. I know this is common sense but I have to disagree because even I saw that the reservoir didn't fill up with water for 1 week but the humidity was above normal and the system was running 24 hours a day. The dust balls are blown out of the vents, and boom, every day 1/5 of the tank is filled with water. Oh! Prior to using this dehumidifier, this bathroom had noticeable mildew and mold stains above the tub, on the walls and ceiling. No longer. :-)
