I'm very impressed with this, usually when you deal with DIY furniture, you feel that it rocks or "only light loads". Not this side table. It really was something different, although all the parts are metal and not the thickest ever, they interlock in such a way that it doesn't wobble or twist at all. The entire table is actually very compact, but will not bend or buckle under weight and handling. This is actually one of the best side table sets I've ever made. This is actually usable for my needs and fits exactly as I expected. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a bedside table. In my case, I wanted the top and bottom bunks to be rigid, but I wanted the bottom bunk to hold a cat bed for my cat. Let's see if he uses it. Meets my needs 100%. The central shelf is tight but it's a great place to store your tablet/laptop!
