I agree with the pros and cons of the other reviews. The price is certainly pleasant, but there are enough shortcomings to order real KAZ filters again. First this filter needs to be cut along the seam line to fit my 3000 series evaporative humidifier. The filter seemed to work fine at first, but after a couple of weeks the wicking doesn't always work. This may be my water, but the old KAZ filters have worked with the same water for a long time. The material itself feels flimsy and not as stiff as the originals. I like this evaporative humidifier because it doesn't throw water droplets into the air and only humidifies the air when needed. If I'm looking for a replacement/(perhaps a second unit) I can't find a company that makes such a filter. Would like to know if anyone found it.
